In February of 2009, London had one of the biggest snow storms in 18 years. This just happened to be during the time of CJ’s and my trip there! Of course a little snow wouldn’t bother us… or so we thought! We were both living in Dallas at the time and we thought we were prepared for this winter weather, but we really didn’t know just how under-prepared we were! Needless to say we still trudged through London in the freezing cold and explored this historically rich city. We took a quick 2 day trip to Istanbul, and when we returned to London, the snow had turned to rain and began to wash away much of the by then dirty snow. The day we went to the Tower of London, we were freezing, soaked, but still having fun!
